“Its nice to take a moment and appreciate the world around you and the realise that not everything is what it seems”.

INDEPENDANT DOCUMENTARY

As one of our assignments for our current module ‘Visual Storytelling and Direction for Screen’, we had to create an independent documentary based anything we’d like it to be.

For me, I of course chose the themes of the galaxies, the world around us and how these sights and pieces of history affect our mental health.

The majority of the film was constructed with videos and images all thanks to Pixabay. I wanted to use of clips and footage filmed in my room as a demonstration of what people think and worry about when they’ve had a rough day.

This clearly demonstrates that not everything as a big and terrifying as we think. Sometimes, its nice to have a look at air that is filled with magnificent and ancient meteors and planets that don’t really mind or care that you couldn’t get an A in your latest assignment.

The message in this short documentary is very simple, that its nice to take a moment and appreciate the world around you and realise that not everything is what it seems.
